StagedRight Youth Theatre
Cumbria’s Premier and Award Winning Youth Theatre - Launched in 2004
StagedRight Youth Theatre is about young people and the arts, offering quality training and numerous opportunities to perform.
Whilst we teach singing, dance and drama, students gain much more! Our members learn how to interact with others, we build confidence, help make lifelong friends and, at times, give hope to those that are struggling in areas of their lives.
StagedRight is grateful to CUMBERLAND COUNCIL for supporting our recent production of BARNUM.

StagedRight has an enviable reputation for the development of students and is proud that a number of former and current members are performing and working in the professional world.
We regularly circulate casting updates for West End Musicals, films and television.
Every year we present our own ‘West End’ style production. This annual musical is lavish, features a full orchestra, professional stage sets and spectacular costumes.
StagedRight is open to anyone aged 12 to 18 years. Entry is by an informal audition but don’t worry you don’t have to be the best. What we are looking for is dedication, a willingness to learn – and a real interest in theatre.
Sessions are held during term time at the fabulous StagedRight Studios, Shaddongate, Carlisle every Friday 6.30pm – 9.30pm. This is a perfect venue for StagedRight as it offers ample parking for parents, a secure purpose built environment, three spacious rehearsal studios which enables students to have quality areas in which to learn singing, dance and drama. We are also able to offer one to one tuition.
The StagedRight Studios are made possible thanks to STORY HOMES
StagedRight is much more than simply a Youth Theatre. For many of our students it has, and will continue to be, an important part of their teenage years. We pride ourselves in preparing young people for not just a career in the arts but for interaction with others, communication with adults and the ability to enter an interview room with confidence. Put simply – Life Skills
